Maximize revenues from Hotel websites, optimise and analyse website performance and initiate improvements and updates.
Monitor, track and analyse Hotel websites to drive consumer traffic, brand awareness, booking conversion and revenue.
Assist & Manage marketing agencies to deliver strategic goals and maximum ROI.
Lead, coordinate and manage digital marketing initiatives and campaigns with internal teams.
Support group’s digital roadmap by implementing, facilitating and driving marketing initiatives and campaigns.
Establish and share digital trends, online travel marketing best practices, key travel industry and consumer trends to internal teams.
FOCUS AREAS: Social Media Management
Monitor day-to-day activities of hotel social media channels; manage and update all social presences of the hotel and activities within Sunway Resort City.
Monitors overall social media listening; creates alerts through Revinate, and other social tools (Google, Facebook, Weibo, Socialbakers).
Manages active and engaged communities around defined or trending topics; performs social media canvasing and lead generation.
Communicates with GM and Dept. heads for appropriate messaging needs/ responses to Guest Reviews (TripAdvisor, OTAs).
Monitors community feedback in real-time drives daily engagement with public interaction for the hotel’s official social presences (FB, Twitter, Weibo, etc).
Develops unique hotel and destination content (posts, photos, videos, infographics, etc); sources and leverages quality User Generated Content in social amplification efforts and ensure usage rights for all materials.
Verifies Brand positioning and voice is fully adhered and activated at the property level.
FOCUS AREAS: Website CMS
To carry out constant maintenance and updating of the Hotel’s main webpage.
Update and enhance the Hotel’s plasma screens with on-going marketing programs and initiatives.
Coordinates with Channel Marketing and Creative teams on monthly promotional email campaigns.
Responsible for preparing mail-out and online exposure value reports on a monthly basis.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Journalism or related discipline
1-4 years of experience in online marketing, communications, strategic planning and brand management in the hospitality, lifestyle or consumer goods industry
A self-starter with good organisation, methodical and multitasking skills with the passion to deliver quality work in tight deadlines.
Able to propose sales, marketing plans, promotion and activities.
Ability to handle marketing reports, presentations and media relations.
Strong project management or organisational skills.
In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, Weibo, TripAdvisor etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios.
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships.
Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary.
Have basic knowledge of principles of SEO (Search Engine Optimisation).
Public relations, Communications, Marketing and/or Community Management experience.
